NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) is seeking service maintenance and calibration for a 250-Ton Hydra-Set system, with a focus on the Model DHS250R. - Government Buyer: - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), with involvement from Kennedy Space Center (KSC) - OEMs and Vendors: - Del Mar Avionics is identified as the sole source OEM for the Hydra-Set system - Products/Services Requested: - Service maintenance for a 250-Ton Hydra-Set - Complete functional test, proof-load, and calibration of one Model DHS250R 250-Ton Hydra-Set system - Includes static structural proof test at 200%, static hydraulic system proof test at 125%, 10-point calibration within 0.5% accuracy, hoisting and rotation test at 250,000 lbs, one hour hang test, leakage checks, calibration test report, and certificate of conformance - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Work to be performed at the contractor's facility and/or NASA Kennedy Space Center - NASA is considering a sole source award to Del Mar Avionics but may open to competition based on responses - Capability statements are requested; price offers are not being accepted at this stage - The period of performance is six weeks after the Hydra-Set arrives at the contractor facility
