Description

This RFP is for one or more Master Services Agreement contracts to supply fabricated steel tower and/or pole components for transmission overhead line supporting structures and telecommunication antenna supporting structures, as well as un-galvanized steel for fabrication of steel tower components. The work must meet BC Hydro standards, industry standards, and code requirements, and will be on an as-and-when-required basis throughout British Columbia. The initial contract term is expected to be 5 years, with possible extensions up to 8 additional years, totaling a potential duration of 13 years. The procurement may involve negotiation and is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
