The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) to provide regulated medical waste and sharps management services for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System and associated clinics. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 - Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) - Services Requested: - Regulated medical waste and reusable sharps container management and disposal - Daily provision and sanitization of bio-hazard containers - Daily waste pickup (Monday through Saturday) - Segregation and treatment of chemotherapy and pathological waste - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations - Maintenance of documentation and employee safety training - Quality assurance surveillance and corrective action processes - Quantities and Line Items: - Monthly management and disposal of up to 1,500 sharps containers (Line Item 0001, 60 months) - Disposal of an estimated 1,569,000 pounds of other regulated medical waste (Line Item 0002) - Notable Requirements: - 100% compliance with container provision, pickup schedules, treatment, and documentation - Employee safety and training standards - Firm-fixed price, 5-year IDIQ contract structure - Performance at multiple VA facilities and Community Based Outpatient Clinics across Arkansas - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; services must meet regulatory and VA standards.

Description

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This RFQ is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Interested SBs must be listed to receive contract awards. SDVOSB must be registered on Small Business Association (SBA) https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ to be eligible for award.

Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16, is soliciting offers for RMW and Sharps Management. The Contractor shall provide Regulated Medical Waste and Reusable Sharps Container Management & Disposal Services to multiple Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System facilities in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
