Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Hazard Tree Removal, Tully Lake, Royalston, MA.
QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform hazard tree removal, traffic control, stump grinding, and site landscaping at one (1) location within the Tully Lake Dam property. The site location consists of approximately 525 feet along the west side of Athol-Richmond Road (Route 32), which is a state highway in Royalston, MA (See Exhibit A). The work shall include the cutting, chipping, and removal of eighteen (18) hazard white pine trees including all logs, branches, associated debris, and stumps as well as loaming and seeding the disturbed areas. There may be trees that exhibit higher hazard to personnel, property or infrastructure in their condition or precarious location that are included in this work.
This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about May 13, 2026. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov).
This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
