Treasury Vault Café Food Services and Vending Management Solicitation

The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive food services for the Vault Café at the Main Treasury building and manage vending machines at both the Main Treasury and Freedman's Bank buildings in Washington, DC. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Treasury Operations - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Food and beverage services at the Vault Café, including fresh, healthy, locally grown, organic, vegetarian, and vegan options - Barista services for espresso-based and brewed beverages - Operation and management of six vending machines (four at Main Treasury, two at Freedman's Bank Building) with healthy snacks and beverages - Provision of a secure, Section 508-compliant, web-based and mobile-accessible Point of Sale (POS) system with contactless payment and online ordering - Use of compostable, petroleum-free disposable products (no polystyrene foam allowed) - Full food service operations and management, including cleaning, sanitation, and customer service - Cleaning and janitorial services for café and vending areas - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on sustainability, local sourcing, and organic options - High standards for food safety, sanitation, and customer service - POS system must be accessible and support online/mobile ordering - All disposables must be compatible with recycling/composting systems - Contractor responsible for all personnel, equipment, supplies, and compliance with health and safety regulations - Period of Performance: - Base year of 12 months with four 12-month option years - Place of Performance: - Vault Café, Main Treasury Building (1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC) - Freedman's Bank Building (Washington, DC)
