RICH REPLACE HVAC AT MAINT SHOPThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-87 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be awarded using negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The principle NAICS is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and size standard is $19M. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf has a requirement to to replace a 4-ton HVAC Trane air handler with heat strips (up-flow, multi speed), and Trane heat pump located at Richmond National Battlefield Park (RICH) in Richmond, VA. Newly installed equipment will be connected to an existing thermostat control system. All new equipment should be from the same manufacturer and fully compatible with all components in the system. The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5126Q0024. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the offeror that provides the best value without discussions in accordance with FAR 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid UEI number and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). SAM.gov offers free services.
