Description

The project involves the phased replacement of two 2005 model STERIS steam sterilizers with new like-for-like units in the Medical Device Reprocessing room, ensuring one sterilizer remains operational throughout construction. The scope includes demolition, disconnection, removal of existing sterilizers, and installation of new steam, condensate return, cold water, gravity drain, electrical power, control, data, and mechanical services. The work also involves patching and restoration of affected areas and installation of an HVAC split system. The project delivery method is Design-Bid-Build and is managed by Interior Health.
