Description

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) proposes to add a routine use to certain systems of records to implement requirements from Executive Order 14249 and OMB Memorandum M-25-32. This modification aims to protect against fraud, waste, and abuse by allowing disclosure of records to the Department of the Treasury for payment and award eligibility review and improper payment prevention and recovery activities. Comments on this proposal are due by May 27, 2026, and the new routine uses will be effective May 28, 2026.
