VA Inventory Management Modernization – Enterprise Solution and Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking industry input for a large-scale Inventory Management Modernization (IMM) initiative to overhaul its supply chain systems: - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Supply Chain - Technology Acquisition Center NJ (contracting office) - Scope of Work: - Comprehensive, enterprise-wide IMM solution to replace legacy systems - Includes software, hardware, and IT products for inventory, order, warehouse, and financial management - Services required: system integration, business process re-engineering, organizational change management, training, project management, data management, standardized business process implementation, technology modernization, interoperability, hosting, testing, quality assurance, IT help desk support, SaaS security compliance, and cloud migration - Solution must support global (CONUS and OCONUS) VA operations across VHA, VBA, and NCA - Incorporation of AI/ML analytics, standardized processes, and compliance with federal security/privacy standards (e.g., FedRAMP) - Training, risk management, and continuous improvement are required - Contract Structure: - Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract - 5-year base period with a 5-year option (up to 10 years total) - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or product quantities are specified in the solicitation - Notable Requirements: - Centralized, cloud-ready enterprise capability - Integration with VA financial and health record systems - Hosting on VA Enterprise Cloud or VA IT infrastructure - Advanced analytics and AI-enabled data quality management - Compliance with federal security and privacy standards - Place of Performance: - VA and federal facilities, data centers, regional offices, medical treatment facilities, and other government or non-government sites within and outside the continental US
