Description
Marathon County, in conjunction with the city of Wausau, is seeking redevelopment proposals for the former site of the Marathon County Conservation, Planning and Zoning and the Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, located at 210, 212 respectively and the former location of the USDA Farm Service Agency at 326 River Drive in Wausau, WI. The County will review Developer proposals and prioritize them according to job creation potential, impact on workforce housing, market demand, and highest economic and financial benefit to the County. The County is open to proposals that address both rehabilitation or demolition and new construction. Developers may submit proposals for the entire campus or for specific buildings, but not for partial occupancy of a building. The County is also open to proposals that call for the County to maintain ownership with a long-term lease with the Developer.
