Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the State University of New York (SUNY) to solicit proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to retain Special Counsel to advise SUNY on legal matters related to intellectual property, including the registration and protection of SUNY trademarks and service marks. Special Counsel will report directly to SUNY’s Office of General Counsel and work closely with representatives of OGC, campus and System Administration senior staff, and external parties such as the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The contract awarded will be for five years with an option to renew for an additional five-year term. The selected bidder is expected to commence services immediately following contract approval by the NYS Office of the Attorney General and NYS Office of the State Comptroller.
