The Village of Memramcook, New Brunswick, is seeking a contractor for the Water System Extension Phase 4 project to expand municipal water service and infrastructure: - Government Buyer: - Village of Memramcook, Engineering and Municipal Operations (Director: Mr. Arthur Austin, P. Eng.) - Products and Materials Requested: - Approximately 6.5 km of PVC water mains (200mm, 250mm, 300mm diameters) - Fire hydrants, gate valves, service laterals, curb stops, and service connections - Pressure reducing valve (PRV) chambers and access hatches (2 units) - HDPE culverts (450mm to 1050mm diameters) and related backfill - Roadway restoration materials: asphalt, granular subbase/base, shoulder material - Erosion and sediment control structures, rip-rap, and driveway restoration - Construction contingency included (lump sum $100,000) - Services Requested: - Complete supply, installation, and commissioning of water mains and related infrastructure - Trenching, bedding, backfilling, paving, and environmental compliance - Testing, start-up, and site restoration - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Migration of residents from private wells to municipal pressure system - Compliance with municipal standards and quality assurance - Penalties and bonuses for late or early completion - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; open to industry-standard suppliers - All labor, materials, and equipment must be provided by the contractor

Description

The Village of Memramcook is seeking proposals for the supply, installation, and commissioning of approximately 6.5 kilometres of water main along Chemin La Montain Road, Rue Desbarres Street, Rue Paul Street, and Chemin Nigarry Road. The project aims to migrate residents from low-yield private wells onto the Village's pressure system designed for current and future needs. It also includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of two pressure reducing valves and related chambers. The scope covers all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the project, including roadway reconstruction and system testing.
