The City of Kennewick is soliciting sealed bids for the Belfair and Umatilla Waterline project to address water main breaks and improve water pressure in the Tri-City Heights neighborhood and around Vista Elementary School. The work includes installation of approximately 1723 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main, 1460 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 728 linear feet of 1-inch service lines to 24 existing meters, 5 new fire hydrant assemblies, water valves, abandonment of the existing steel water system, trench pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work.
