The University of Kansas is seeking proposals for an advanced CCTV analytics software solution to upgrade and enhance its campus security infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - The University of Kansas, Procurement Services, Campus Operations (Locks, Access & Security Technology Services, KU Police Department, KU Parking) - OEMs and Vendors: - Pelco (primary OEM for existing IP cameras and encoders) - No specific software OEM mandated; solution must be compatible with Pelco equipment - Products/Services Requested: - Advanced CCTV analytics software compatible with nearly 1,000 Pelco-brand IP cameras and encoders - Must replace current Pelco VideoXpert Enterprise and Pro systems - Support for real-time monitoring, high-resolution video (min. 1080p, preferred 4K), high framerate (min. 60 fps, preferred 120 fps) - AI-powered analytics (object/motion search, license plate recognition, gunshot detection integration, heat mapping, parking analytics) - Role-based access control, audit logs, secure remote/mobile access, and redundancy - Integration with existing systems (CBORD, Mass Notification, KU Network, single sign-on) - Cloud and/or on-premise storage options - Automated redaction, geo-fencing, two-way audio, multi-camera synchronization - Seamless migration from current system - Cybersecurity compliance (CJIS standards) - Hardware, storage, licensing, implementation, training, and ongoing support/maintenance for three years - Marketing and co-branding partnership opportunities (separate RFP) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compatibility with a detailed list of Pelco camera models (over 50 part numbers, including IME329, IMM12027, IME129, P1220, etc.) - Solution must serve multiple campus units and support future scalability - Implementation and training milestones required within 4 months of award - Master contract structure with indefinite quantity, 3-year term, and two optional annual renewals
