Description
The City of Kitchener is seeking a consultant experienced in the rehabilitation or replacement of retaining walls to restore an existing retaining wall located on Stirling Avenue South, 150m north of the Mill Street Intersection. The consultant will be responsible for pre-design, final design, coordination of project needs and permits, tendering, contract administration/inspection, and resident/business services during construction. All design work must comply with relevant Canadian and local standards including the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code and the Region of Waterloo’s Design Guidelines. The goal is to maintain the retaining wall in a safe operating condition while ensuring its structural integrity.
