Description
The purpose of this RFP process is to define and recommend the direction of the indoor recreation complex at RBJ Schlegel Park. The goal is to obtain a City of Kitchener Council endorsed direction on the final size, scope, programming, and timing of the complex. The final report and direction will be used to inform further design development and ultimate construction documentation. The City of Kitchener seeks a Consultant Team experienced in planning and design of large-scale recreation complexes including aquatic centres, ice rinks, and athletic facilities, with skills in architectural design, land use planning, and economic analysis. The Consultant Team will coordinate all aspects and perform all tasks necessary to complete the deliverables as defined in the Terms of Reference.
