Description

The City of Kitchener is implementing a forest school education program as part of the existing Kitchener’s Natural Areas Program (KNAP). The program will complement existing nature-based programming and focus on the forest school teaching model, offering weekday, after-school, weekend, and summer camp programs. A qualified project team with Forest School Practitioner and Early Childhood Education backgrounds will be recruited to develop and deliver the program. This initiative is included in the 2018 Capital budget.
