Description

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) requires professional resources for financial counselling and mediation services on an as-needed basis. The contract will establish up to 4 task authorization contracts over 5 years for services in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador. The Farm Debt Mediation Service (FDMS) provides free, confidential financial counselling and mediation to farmers facing financial difficulties. Financial Consultants will conduct site visits, inventory assets, develop financial statements and recovery plans, and participate in mediation meetings to help farmers and creditors reach agreements.
