Description

The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is seeking information to support the development of a material recovery plan focused on construction and demolition (C&D) waste materials in the Kansas City region. The goal is to create a circular economy by recovering and repurposing waste materials from C&D and deconstruction activities, thereby boosting business growth, job creation, and equitable access to goods. MARC is interested in insights on methodologies, technologies, products, and services across the entire value chain, including design, policy, funding, deconstruction, building with recovered materials, logistics, processing, brokering, reuse, and support services. This RFI aims to identify potential contributors to this vision to help the region become a hub for secondary materials.
