The City of Agoura Hills Public Works Department is seeking bids for a multi-year street improvements project covering fiscal years 2025-26 and 2026-27. - Government Buyer: - City of Agoura Hills Public Works Department - Project Scope: - Comprehensive street improvements including: - Clearing and grubbing - Cold planing (2" depth, approx. 14,020 sq. ft.) - Full depth removal of asphalt concrete pavement and dikes (approx. 2,080 sq. ft.) - Excavation (approx. 33 cu. yd.) - Utility grade adjustments (7 units) - Removal and reconstruction of speed humps (5 units) - Construction of hot mix asphalt (610 tons) and asphalt rubber hot mix overlay (1,830 tons) - Aggregate base (520 tons), decomposed granite (4 cu. yd.), imported borrow (95 cu. yd.) - Drain outlet pipe extension (3 units) - Installation of signing, striping, and pavement markings - Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid Class "A" Contractor License - All labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work must be provided - Strict adherence to contract documents, regulatory permits, and applicable regulations - Quantities are approximate and may be adjusted by the City Engineer - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Location: - Project site is 30001 Ladyface Ct., Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, California

Description

This project involves furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work to complete street improvements as described in the contract documents. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, cold plane, asphalt concrete pavement and dike removal, excavation, utility grade adjustment, removal and reconstruction of speed humps, hot mix asphalt construction, asphalt rubber hot mix construction, tack coat construction, aggregate base construction, decomposed granite, imported borrow, drain outlet pipe extension, and signing, striping, and pavement markings. Work must comply with contract documents, regulatory permits, and applicable regulations. Quantities are approximate and may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. A Class "A" Contractor License is required.
