The County of San Diego Department of Public Works is seeking bids for as-needed traffic control services to support road maintenance and emergency operations across the county. - Government Buyer: - County of San Diego, Department of Public Works, Department of Purchasing and Contracting - Products/Services Requested: - As-needed traffic control services, including provision of personnel, signs, cones, and equipment - Traffic control crews (two-person crews), additional flaggers, emergency response, and attenuator trucks with operators - Estimated annual quantities: - 7,000 hours for two-person traffic control crews - 100 hours/units each for additional flaggers, emergency response, and attenuator trucks - Services must cover both normal and emergency mobilization with specified response times - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a California C-31 license and DIR registration - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required - Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract; individual task orders not to exceed $25,000 - Contractors must respond to all items within a lot to be eligible for award of that lot - No specific OEMs or vendors are mandated or highlighted; open to all qualified firms - Place of performance and delivery includes County of San Diego facilities and Department of Public Works offices in San Diego

Description

The County of San Diego is seeking bids from firms interested in providing As-Needed Traffic Control Services. The contract term is anticipated to be an initial (base) period of one year with four 1-year options. The Basis of Award will be the price per lot, and offerors must respond to all items within a lot to be considered for award of that lot. Bids must be submitted electronically via BuyNet by May 13, 2026, prior to 11:00 a.m.
