The New York State Office of General Services Design & Construction Group is seeking firms to provide architectural and engineering services for the Fairgrounds Revitalization Program at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse, Onondaga County. - Government Buyer: - New York State Office of General Services (OGS), Design & Construction Group, Consultant Procurement - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive architectural and engineering services for rehabilitation of existing buildings and design of new structures - Required expertise includes: - Architectural, structural, site/civil/utility engineering - Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection/fire alarm engineering - Energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability - Notable Requirements: - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goal: 6% - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goals: 15% each - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - NYS Fairgrounds, Syracuse, Onondaga County - Administrative office at Empire State Plaza, Albany - Contract Structure: - Five-year term: three years to assign new work, plus two additional years to complete assignments

Description

The New York State Office of General Services Design & Construction Group (OGS D&C) intends to contract with one firm to provide Architectural and/or Engineering services. The firm must have expertise in architectural, structural engineering, and site/civil/utility engineering, with possible tasks in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection/fire alarm engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability. Projects will involve rehabilitation of existing buildings, structures, and facilities, as well as planning and design of new buildings, structures, and facilities.
