The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), through the Klamath Falls National Fish Hatchery, is seeking vendors to supply and install two complete fish net pen systems to support endangered sucker fish populations at Upper Klamath Lake and Gerber Reservoir in Oregon. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Klamath Falls National Fish Hatchery - Products and Services Requested: - Two fish net pen systems (one per site), each including: - Fish pen frame (120' x 25') with dual 18" HDPE pontoons, HDPE cross pipes, fiberglass decking, and removable rail system - Two net pens per system (25' x 59' x 15') with polyester netting, polyethylene bird netting, and perimeter chain - Anchor package: 16 concrete block anchors (1,650 lbs each), galvanized chain, buoys, and hardware - Wave attenuator package: 24 HDPE pipes, rubber skirts, and hardware - Installation services: 4-person crew, equipment rental, assembly, and anchor system setup - Shipping and handling: three 48-foot flatbeds per pen - Notable requirements: - Systems must withstand up to 10 inches of winter freeze and floating ice - Gerber Reservoir installation requires additional labor and logistics due to remoteness - Vendors must demonstrate experience manufacturing net pen systems for harsh environments - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; open to qualified manufacturers with relevant experience - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on durability for severe winter conditions - Complete turnkey solution including delivery, installation, and all components - Experience with similar conservation or aquaculture projects is preferred - Locations: - Upper Klamath Lake, OR (federal facility) - Gerber Reservoir, OR (federal facility) - Klamath Falls National Fish Hatchery (government facility) - No part numbers or specific brands are provided; opportunity is open to qualified suppliers.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 339920. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. The US Fish and Wildlife is seeking to purchase Fish Net Pens for Sucker Fish for delivery to Upper Klamath Lake, OR and Gerber Reservoir, OR.
