NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk is seeking proposals for Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) at the Pentagon. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (Philadelphia Office) - Office located at 1968 Gilbert Street Suite 600, Norfolk, VA - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a services procurement - Products/Services Requested: - Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for JIAMDO - Subject matter expertise in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) - Preparation of briefings and reports - Program and project management - Financial management - Security administration - Support for major analytical tasks (e.g., Nimble Fire, JRICM) - Estimated labor hours: 59,200 (base), up to 343,360 (with all options) - Travel and Other Direct Costs (ODCs) with specified not-to-exceed amounts - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Personnel must have Top Secret/SCI clearances - Support covers a base period of 10 months plus four 12-month option periods - Work performed primarily at the Pentagon, with travel to locations such as St. Louis, Colorado Springs, Huntsville, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Hanscom AFB, Norfolk, and Stuttgart (Germany) - Only Seaport NxG MAC holders are eligible to compete - No hardware or software products are being procured; the requirement is for specialized technical services.

Description

This solicitation N0018926RD009 is a re-compete of Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) of the Joint Staff, J8 in the Pentagon, Washington, DC. Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) is the capability to detect, classify, intercept, and destroy or negate the effectiveness of enemy aircraft and missiles prior to launch or while in flight to protect the U.S., deployed forces, our friends, Allies, selected assets, and population centers. The contractor shall serve as a subject matter expert in the mission area of IAMD and provide advice to the Government based on that expertise.
