Acquisition Authority:  This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and the resultant contract award will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 dated March 13, 2026.

Description of Requirement:

This requirement is to procure Animal Shipping Boxes for live animals with the salient characteristics: 1) durable and strong material, 2)  shipping boxes for live animals, 3) safety features (defined below), and 4) various sizes (defined below).

Box Specifications:

Animal Shipping Box with Screen Filter 6-5/16” x 6-5/16” x 6-3/4” Four (4) Screen Filters Attached Filter Frame must be Abs-styrene with 0.030 thickness and size 734 x 415 x 3125 to have filter laminated onto the frame. Filter Paper must be of BMR with 6oz Bulk and electrostatically enhanced. Must be 5MIL with MD7 and CD.8, PSI 6 and CFM 750 with efficiency of 99.99% on Ashrae test 52.2. Wire must be 515A alloy mesh .025 with .001 in Diameter and with 4 -1/16” with PSI 45,000 and openness 80 to 85%. All filters on the frame must be inspected and tested before shipping. Filters are laminated by hand to die cut carton with a non-toxic glue. Cartons to be manufactured at 200# PSI RSC die cut and glued. This notice is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “ Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,” as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested.

Closing Statement:

Responses to this notice must include sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities for providing the product. The response shall include: the unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, delivery days after contract award, delivery terms, prompt payment discount terms, F.O.B.
