Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of new Material Handling Aerial Device (MHAD) vehicles to three Nunavut communities. - Government Buyer: - Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) is the procuring agency, managing the solicitation and contract. - Products and Quantities: - One new insulated telescopic material handling aerial device (MHAD) vehicle per community (total of 3 units: Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Sanikiluaq) - Each MHAD must meet CSA C-225 standards and include: - Long arm/short arm insulated telescopic boom - Hydraulic systems, insulated bucket, and safety features - Full-length steel utility body with: - Rear and curbside access, ladder rack, weather stripping, locks, LED lighting, beacon light, Golight Stryker spotlight, load tie downs, pintle hook, trailer plug - Single axle regular cab chassis with: - Six or eight cylinder diesel engine, 4x4, limited slip or locking rear axle, automatic transmission, heated mirrors, hydraulic brakes, block heater, synthetic oils, spare filters, studded off-road tire chains - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; bidders may propose any manufacturer meeting the technical requirements. - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All equipment must comply with CSA C-225 standards and detailed technical specifications - Delivery must occur before the last 2026 sealift sailing to Nunavut - Strict shipping and packaging conditions for remote delivery - Emphasis on use of local labor and compliance with Nunavut regulations - NNI (Nunavummi Nangminiqaqtunik Ikajuuti) bid adjustments apply - Option for additional quantities within 60 days of purchase order - Delivery and Performance Locations: - Equipment to be delivered to Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, and Sanikiluaq, Nunavut - NEAS Terminal in Becancour, Quebec, is a designated delivery point for sealift shipments - Contracting office is Qulliq Energy Corporation, Baker Lake, Nunavut
