The City of Dieppe is seeking qualified engineering firms to deliver a comprehensive feasibility study and building condition assessment for multiple municipal facilities, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improving energy efficiency. - Government Buyer: - City of Dieppe, New Brunswick - Managed by the Dieppe Operations Center - Scope of Services: - Engineering services to conceptualize and develop GHG reduction pathways for municipal buildings - Targeted GHG reduction: at least 50% within 10 years, 80% within 20 years - Comprehensive energy audits (ASHRAE Level 2 minimum) and calibrated energy modeling - Measure-level analysis, scenario development, and capital planning - Building condition assessments for a portfolio of facilities - Engineering design, technical support, feasibility tendering, and construction administration as needed - Facilities Included: - UNIplex, City Hall, Operations Centre, Dieppe Market, Aquatic Centre, Arts and Culture Centre, Lakeburn Recreation Centre, Youth House, Rotary St. Anselme Park Pavilion, Gauvin Fire Station, Dieppe Boulevard Fire Station - Requirements: - Firms must demonstrate experience in energy audits and engineering services - All professionals must be licensed in New Brunswick and be members in good standing of the Architects Association of New Brunswick (AANB) and/or the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named; the focus is on professional engineering and consulting services - Notable: The project requires a multi-disciplinary approach, including energy modeling, scenario analysis, and capital planning for municipal infrastructure
