Scott AFB Commodity Sale: Scrap Cardboard, Lead-Acid Batteries, and Onity Door Lock Sets

Scott Air Force Base is conducting a public commodity sale of scrap materials through its Qualified Recycling Program (QRP): - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 375th Civil Engineer Squadron (AMC), Scott Air Force Base - Managed by the 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS LGC) - Commodities for Sale: - Used Cardboard: - 12 bales, approximately 1,000 lbs each (total ~12,000 lbs) - Used Lead-Acid Batteries: - 2 pallets, total weight approximately 4,000 lbs - Used Onity Advance Door Lock Sets: - 450 lock sets, palletized, approximately 15 lbs each - OEM: Onity - Notable Requirements: - Bidders must arrange pickup within 5 working days of award and provide transportation at no additional cost - Loading available Monday-Friday, 0730-1600, excluding weekends and federal holidays - Bidders must submit SAM, UEI, or CAGE codes with their bid - Locations: - All materials are located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois - Specific buildings for pickup: B4001 (cardboard), B4028 (door locks), B3306 (batteries) - Opportunity is open to the public via Invitation to Bid

Description

The 375th Civil Engineer Squadron (375 CES) sells scrap material direct to the public through the Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) via an Invitation to Bid. The QRP has 3 commodities available for bid:

12 bales of used cardboard,

4,000 lbs of palletized lead-acid batteries, and

450 boxes of palletized Onity Advance Door Lock Sets. 

If interested in one or more commodities, please open the attached Invitation to Bid and review all details. Fill out and submit the Invitation to Bid Sheet by end of bidding period. Please ensure the solicitation is completely filled out to include a SAM number and/or UEI number or CAGE Code. Send your bid to Michelle Engel by e-mail to michelle.engel@us.af.mil by 5 May 2026 End Of Business (EOB). Bid(s) will be awarded in writing on 6 May 2026 noon CDT. All bids are welcome.
