Description

Norwich Public Utility is requesting fiber installation, splicing, troubleshooting, and repair services. The selected vendor(s) will install fiber cable, splice closures, prepare cable and fibers for termination, and perform fusion splicing of single mode fibers at various locations. Typical splicing includes fiber to fiber within splice closures and fiber to patch cord within break-out boxes. Fiber, closures, and patch panels are usually provided by NPU, but vendors may assist in acquiring shorter lengths of fiber and related components if needed.
