The United States International Trade Commission has instituted preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations to determine if imports of Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane hydrochloride from China are being sold at less than fair value and subsidized by the Chinese government. The investigations aim to assess whether these imports materially injure or threaten the U.S. industry or retard its establishment. The preliminary determination is scheduled for June 5, 2026, with the Commission's views due to the Department of Commerce by June 12, 2026.
