Dry Waste Management Services for Saskatchewan Provincial Parks

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking qualified service providers to deliver dry waste management services across a wide range of provincial parks in multiple regions. - Government Buyer: - Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport, Government of Saskatchewan - SaskBuilds and Procurement (contracting office) - Scope of Services: - Dry waste collection, transport, disposal, and recycling management - Delivery, placement, and maintenance of garbage, recycling, and yard waste bins - Regular and as-needed bin pickups, with seasonal schedules (summer and winter) - Provision of bear-proof bins with hydraulic/spring-loaded arms and hinged/latched lids - Yard waste management and recycling services at select locations - Compliance with safety standards, including SAE-approved audible backup warning devices on vehicles - Valid waste disposal and recycling permits, and required insurance coverage - Products/Line Items Requested: - Garbage bins (various sizes: 3, 4, 6, 18, and 30 yards) for multiple parks - Recycling bins (various sizes: 3, 4, 6, 18, and 30 yards) - Yard waste bins (6 and 30 yards) - Estimated quantities and tip frequencies provided for each park and season - Notable Requirements: - Contractors may bid on specific parks or regions - Seasonal and as-needed pickup schedules, with flexibility for winter operations - Emphasis on environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance - Multiple suppliers may be awarded contracts for different locations - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; opportunity is open to all qualified waste management service providers - Locations: - Services required at numerous provincial parks and recreation sites across Saskatchewan, including but not limited to: Blackstrap, Greenwater Lake, Pike Lake, Candle Lake, Great Blue Heron, Narrow Hills, Makwa Lake/Bronson Forest, Meadow Lake, The Battlefords, Echo Valley, Katepwa Point, White Butte Trails, Moose Mountain, Rowan's Ravine, Buffalo Pound, Danielson, Douglas, Saskatchewan Landing, Cannington Manor, Condie Nature Refuge, and others - Contract Term: - Initial term of two years, with options to extend for up to three additional one-year periods

This Request for Bid (RFB) is issued by the Government of Saskatchewan on behalf of the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport.
