This opportunity seeks qualified contractors to perform accessibility and base building improvements at the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Building in Battleford, Saskatchewan. - Government Buyer: - Town of Battleford (Chief Administrative Officer) - Project Scope: - Address barrier-free accessibility deficiencies per CAN/CSA B651-2018 standards - Install concrete walkways (minimum 1500 mm width, max 2% cross slope) - Install automatic door openers on entrance doors, including actuator buttons/paddles and replacement of exterior glazed door to 850 mm clear-width with push bar - Upgrade accessible washrooms: power-assisted door openers, grab bars, CSA-compliant coat hooks, flush lever replacement, drainpipe insulation, and emergency call system - Install and relocate tactile signage for exit doors at specified mounting heights - Replace all window coverings throughout the leased premises (includes moving furniture) - Repaint all base building walls (colors selected by Lessee; includes moving furniture) - Replace all carpet throughout the leased premises (includes moving furniture) - Notable Requirements: - All work must be coordinated with the Lessee’s Property & Facility Manager - Strict compliance with CAN/CSA B651-2018 – Accessible Design for the Built Environment - No specific OEMs, product brands, or part numbers are specified in the solicitation - All work to be completed by the specified deadline at the CFIA Building in Battleford, SK

This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits proposals from qualified contractors to perform base building work at the leased premises of the CFIA Building.
