Description
This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment to procure services for the pick-up of Class B Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) from fire departments and airports in Maryland participating in the Takeback Program. The successful bidder will be responsible for disposing of the AFFF at a permitted facility outside Maryland or destroying it using MDE-approved methods. This procurement complies with the George “Walter” Taylor Act of 2022. The contract will be between the successful bidder(s) and the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Land and Materials Administration.
