Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD), is initiating a Multi-Step Competitive Sealed Bid process to procure qualified contractors for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) revenue billing and revenue cycle management services. The procurement includes a prequalification phase followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Vendors will be evaluated on their experience with EMS billing, claims processing, invoicing, collections support, reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA and CMS billing rules. The selected contractor is expected to provide timely, accurate, and compliant billing services that improve claims processing efficiency, reduce denials, maximize revenue recovery, and enhance financial reporting for AFRD's EMS transport program.
