Notice of Intent for Sole SourceThe purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the Department of the Interior ¿ National Park Service intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Elevator Service of St. Louis, LLC for urgent elevator repair services at Brown V. Board of Education National Historical Park in Topeka Kansas.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors - with a size standard of $22M. This procurement is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Part 13.The Contracting Office hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Elevator Service of St. Louis, LLC for the services required. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to the nature of the requirement, and no other sources will be able to satisfy agency requirements.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
