The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 21 is seeking vendors to supply advanced defibrillator/monitor devices to replace legacy units across five VA Health Care Systems in California and Nevada. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 21 - Biomedical Engineering service (Daniel Truong) - Products/Services Requested: - 256 new defibrillator/monitor devices distributed as follows: - VA Southern Nevada HCS (Las Vegas): 42 units - VA Sierra Nevada HCS (Reno): 32 units - VA Palo Alto HCS: 88 units - VA Central California HCS (Fresno): 45 units - VA Northern California HCS (Sacramento and Martinez): 49 units - Devices must feature: - Adult and pediatric AED functionality - Rechargeable lithium-ion battery - Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth - Color LCD touchscreen (800 x 600) - Integrated printer - CPR feedback technology and audiovisual coaching - Pulse oximetry, non-invasive blood pressure, and end tidal CO2 monitoring - Removable parameter pods and configurable operation modes (AED/manual) - Pediatric safety features and specific CPR electrodes - Rapid shock capabilities and shock conversion estimator - Secondary tablet for real-time data display and playback - Accessories, trade-in of old units, deployment support, on-site training for clinicians and biomedical staff, and subscription software - Five-year warranty required - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Brand name or equal accepted; not limited to a single OEM - Must meet detailed clinical, technical, and connectivity specifications - On-site training for all nursing shifts and Biomedical Equipment Support Specialists - Deployment support at each facility - Trade-in of legacy defibrillator units - No set-asides; NAICS code 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing) - Vendors must provide capability statements and authorized distributor letters if applicable

Description

This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to determine if there are any vendors, regardless of business size, that can provide Defibrillator Replacement (brand name or equal) supporting the VA Palo Alto  Health Care System, VA Southern Nevada Health Care System, VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, VA Central California Health Care System and VA Northern California Health Care System (See attached SOW and Salient Characteristics).

There is no solicitation document as this time.  The NAICS is 334510 with Small Business size of 1,250 Employees.  NOTE: Please ensure that System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement.
