Description
On January 20, 2025, President Trump issued an Executive Order (FR Doc. 2025-01907) requiring federal employees return to in-person work. The directive aims to increase productivity and reduce government waste, requiring departments to submit, implement, and report on return-to-office plans.
The purpose of this commercial, non-personal services order is to design, configure, deploy and manage a secure, user-friendly tool to track USDA employees' return to the office in compliance with the President’s Return To Office Executive Order (EO) and OMB-OPM Joint Memo Re: Agency Return To Office Implementation Plans.
The tool will provide insights into employee/facility mapping, facility utilization, and office capacity to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and optimize workplace management. The system will be scalable, secure, and compliant with USDA and federal IT standards.
