Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), under the Department of Energy, is seeking proposals for the procurement of a dilution refrigerator to support the Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems (SQMS) project. - Government Buyer: - Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), managed by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC for the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science - Procurement Department, Batavia, Illinois - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) SQMS Training Platform Dilution Refrigerator assembly - Must meet Fermilab Engineering Specification ED0044143 - Capable of maintaining temperatures below 30mK continuously - Supports rapid cooldown and high-throughput quantum research and training - Includes fabrication, testing, delivery, documentation, and quality control - Requires vibration isolation, specific materials, advanced thermometry, and control software compatible with Windows 11 - Factory and on-site acceptance testing required; up to three months of on-site support if needed - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Delivery and completion required within approximately 15 months from award - Evaluation criteria include technical proposal, price, schedule, management control plan, and past experience - Delivery to Fermilab Receiving Warehouse 2, Batavia, IL - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance/Delivery: - Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Batavia, Illinois (Receiving Warehouse 2)
