The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to provide road striping services for Hurricane Ridge Road within Olympic National Park, Washington. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior - Olympic National Park, PWR OLYM MABO office, Facility Management, Port Angeles, WA - Products/Services Requested: - Road striping of approximately 17.9 miles (about 190,080 linear feet each of solid white fog line and yellow centerline) - Use of Type B Waterborne traffic paint with Type 1 glass beads for both white and yellow lines - Mobilization and demobilization services - Traffic control, including furnishing, installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic control devices - Surface preparation, including sweeping and cleaning of pavement - Quantities: - Approximately 380,160 linear feet of pavement marking (combined white and yellow lines) - 18 miles of surface preparation - 1 each for mobilization, traffic control, and demobilization - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates and Buy American construction material requirements - Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations - No on-site construction camps; restrictions on work hours and wildlife disturbance - Quality control and safety plans required - Invoicing based on actual linear feet painted - All technical and performance requirements detailed in the Statement of Work and Specifications - No specific OEMs, vendors, or part numbers are specified; the focus is on service performance and compliance with material standards.
