The Department of the Army is seeking a contractor to provide a turn-key crossdraft-style sanding booth at Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Tobyhanna Army Depot - Products and Solutions Requested: - Crossdraft-style sanding booth (minimum internal dimensions: 39L x 16W x 14H, 18-gauge steel, modular, self-supporting) - Four-stage air filtration system (including HEPA Activated Carbon Filtration and magnehelic pressure gauges) - Electrical and lighting system (interior LED lighting, hazardous location standards, UL-508A listed control panel) - Water-based fire suppression and alarm system (UFC 3-600-01 and NFPA compliant, integrates with existing Notifier fire alarm system) - Accessories: fall protection rails, compressed air hose reels, central vacuum system, utility niches, breathable air and compressed air connections - Services Required: - Turn-key design, engineering, supply, delivery, installation, assembly, set-up, and training for the sanding booth - Training for up to six operators and four maintenance personnel - One-year warranty (parts, labor, travel, preventive maintenance) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Booth and systems must comply with OSHA, NFPA, UFC, and local codes, including hazardous location standards - Environmental and cybersecurity compliance, including CMMC Level 2 certification - Contractor must provide project management, system layout drawings, and site preparation - Safety, security, and background checks required for personnel - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All work must be completed within 360 days from Notice to Proceed

This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is NOT a request for proposal. This notice is for an upcoming requirement for SANDING BOOTH Contract at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. Please see attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Draft Solicitation NOTE: DRAFT PWS and solicitation may be subject to minor revisions. In order to be eligible for award, the prospective offeror must have a current and active registration in SAM.gov and not show any Active Exclusions and not have any Debt Subject to Offset. The offeror must be found responsible in accordance with FAR 9.1 – Responsibility of Prospective Contractor. Any responsible firms believing they can provide this requirement should, within 15 days of this notice, contact in writing the Contract Specialist identified and submit a capability statement describing their firm’s capability to meet the Government’s requirement, which will be reviewed for consideration. This notice does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary.
