Description

The Robert S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology has completed an inventory of human remains and determined a cultural affiliation with various Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The human remains represent at least two individuals and were removed from the Hagan Mound Group in Schuyler County, Illinois. No associated funerary objects are present. Repatriation of the human remains may occur on or after May 26, 2026, and written requests for repatriation must be sent to the Robert S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology.
