Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes human remains of one individual and 32 associated funerary objects recovered from site 41LR12, a late precontact village in Lamar County, Texas, culturally affiliated with the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. The notice details the cultural affiliation and provides instructions for written requests for repatriation, which may occur on or after May 26, 2026.
