Description

The Florida Department of State has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory determined a cultural affiliation between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice includes details about the repatriation process, which may occur on or after May 26, 2026. Requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at the Florida Department of State.
