The County of San Diego is seeking bids for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for C-10 Electrical Contractor services to support a wide range of electrical work at County facilities. - Government Buyer: - County of San Diego, Department of General Services, Department of Purchasing and Contracting - OEMs and Vendors: - Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS) is the mandated vendor for the JOC software and pricing system (Simplebid™ Unit Price Book, JOC Software, and JOC Applications) - Products/Services Requested: - C-10 Electrical Contractor services for repair, remodeling, maintenance, alteration, modernization, and rehabilitation of buildings and real property - Services to be performed both during normal and outside normal working hours, as ordered by the County via individual job orders - Contractors must provide all management, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the work - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Use of FOS Simplebid™ Unit Price Book and JOC Software is mandatory for all job order proposals and pricing - Bidders must be prequalified, possess a valid California C-10 Electrical Contractor License, and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) - Pricing requires two adjustment factors: one for normal working hours and one for other than normal working hours - Work may be required at any County location throughout San Diego County - Maximum contract value is $2,500,000 with a base period of 12 months or until funds are expended
Description
The County of San Diego is soliciting bids for a Job Order Contract (JOC) 370 for C-10 Electrical Contractor. This is a competitively bid, firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for repair, remodeling, maintenance, or other repetitive work on buildings, structures, or other real property at various locations throughout the County. The contract includes a collection of detailed repair and remodel tasks with established unit prices, and ordering is accomplished by issuance of Job Orders against the contract. The contract has a maximum value of $2,500,000 and a base period of 12 months from contract award or expenditure of the maximum value, whichever occurs first.
