The City of Annapolis is seeking bids for a multi-year paving program to repair, resurface, and reconstruct various city streets. - Government Buyer: - City of Annapolis, Department of Public Works, Central Purchasing Office - Contact: Charles M. Mike Garascia - Scope of Work: - Repair, resurfacing, and reconstruction of city streets - Curb and gutter installation and replacement - Street repair, excavation, grading, milling, and patching - Sidewalk and brick sidewalk removal and replacement - ADA-compliant handicapped ramp installation - Utility adjustments (manholes, valve boxes, inlet grates) - Installation and adjustment of granite curbs and stormwater inlets - Permanent and temporary pavement markings (including SHARROWS, arrows, lines, and legends) - Erosion and sediment control, topsoil, seeding, sodding, and mulching - Traffic control and maintenance, including portable variable message signs - Project mobilization, clean up, and monument/marker resetting - Products/Materials Requested: - Bituminous concrete (surface, base, patching, wedge/level courses) - CR-6 stone/graded aggregate base - Concrete pipes (MSHA standards) - Paving fabric, granite curbs, inlet grates (bicycle safe, MSHA standards) - Lead-free reflective thermoplastic pavement markings - Temporary pavement marking tape - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must have placed at least 50,000 tons of bituminous concrete for government agencies in the past three years - At least 60% of the work must be self-performed by the contractor - Each project task must be completed within 120 calendar days (extendable by agreement) - Liquidated damages of $400 per calendar day for delays - Payment and performance bonds required - ADA and Maryland State Highway Administration (MSHA) standards apply - Multiple contracts may be awarded - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; materials must meet MSHA and ADA standards - Place of Performance: - All work to be performed within the City of Annapolis, Maryland

The City of Annapolis is soliciting sealed bids for the paving program involving repair, resurfacing, and reconstruction of various streets within the city. The scope includes curb and gutter installation, street repair, reconstruction, excavation, grading, milling, patching, and related site improvements.
