The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is seeking a contractor to conduct a transit study for the Otay Mesa area in San Diego. The study aims to determine the transit needs of the community and recommend network and infrastructure adjustments, including transit routes, stops, service frequencies, and transit priority measures. The contract term is from October 1, 2026, through February 28, 2028. The study will consider upcoming infrastructure changes such as the Otay Mesa East Port of Entry and connections to Tijuana International Airport.
