The City of Caldwell Waste Water Department is seeking bids for the construction and commissioning of DAFT Room No. 2 at its Wastewater Treatment Plant. - Government Buyer: - City of Caldwell Waste Water Department (Wastewater Treatment Plant) - OEMs and Vendors: - OVIVO (manufacturer of the DAFT tank) - Products/Equipment Requested: - One fully welded, watertight DAFT tank (OVIVO DAFT Tank), to be supplied by OVIVO and installed/welded on site - New sludge pumps for the DAFT No. 2 treatment system - Process piping and valves for system integration - Electrical and control systems for the DAFT No. 2 treatment system - HVAC and plumbing systems for the new building - New polymer dosing system for sludge thickening - Services Requested: - Selective demolition and excavation - Construction of new foundations, floor slab, and DAFT Room No. 2 enclosure - Installation and integration of the DAFT tank and process systems - Yard improvements including roadway realignment, paving, grading, sidewalks, and protective bollards - Utility and process upgrades within the Blower/Solids Handling Building - Unique/Notable Requirements: - The DAFT tank is a critical component, supplied by OEM OVIVO, with the purchase contract and remaining balance assigned to the awarded general contractor - The DAFT tank must be installed and welded on site by the contractor - Project is funded by the City of Caldwell (no federal wage requirements) - 5% bid security is required - Qualified contractors with expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, and process systems are encouraged to participate
