The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a small business contractor to perform exterior and wet room renovations at USCG Station Oak Island, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Regional Support Team (RST-05) Portsmouth Base Elizabeth City, and USCG Station Oak Island - Contracting office: 70Z081 Regional Support Team (RST-05) - Scope of Work: - Replace 16 windows (12 on parking lot side, 4 on ocean side) with new units matching existing material and color - Install new white PVC window trim on all replaced windows - Board up one gable vent with exterior-grade plywood, waterproof membrane, and solid PVC or decorative vent - Install new solid soffit on the upstairs room to match and paint to existing color - Renovate wet room ceilings in both men's and women's bathrooms with mold and moisture-resistant sheetrock, finished and painted with anti-microbial paint - Remove and replace two mini split HVAC units in bathrooms - Apply new grout to bathroom tile floors - All labor, supervision, equipment, and materials required - Notable Requirements: - Project is 100% set aside for Small Businesses under NAICS 236220 - Firm-Fixed Price contract - Mandatory site visit required to verify quantities before quoting - Safety and environmental compliance per federal regulations is mandatory - Completion required within 84 calendar days after notice to proceed - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified; contractor may select materials that match existing standards - All work to be performed at USCG Station Oak Island, NC

Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and material necessary to seal soffits, replace windows, and renovate the wet room at USCG Station Oak Island, NC. See the attached Statement of Work for project requirements. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 236220 and size standard of $45M. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. See 52.212-2 for evaluation criteria. All quotes must be submitted by NOON Eastern Time on May 15, 2026, via email to Frank.M.Powers@uscg.mil. Ensure blocks 14 (Include UEI) through 20c of the SF 1442 and pricing are completed before emailing. Questions about this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Specialist at the email address listed above, no later than NOON May 8, 2026. An amendment may be posted to clear up any ambiguities and answer all questions at one time. No oral questions will be accepted. All potential quoters are strongly encouraged to visit the site to field verify any/all quantities before submitting quotes. A site visit will be held on May 5 at 1000 at USCG Station Oak Island, 300 Caswell Beach rd. Oak Island NC, 28465.
