The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a licensed contractor for a turnkey HVAC system upgrade at the North Las Vegas Campus B Building. - Government Buyer: - College of Southern Nevada (CSN), under the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) - Facilities Management Department and Director of Purchasing involved - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs mandated, but Lennox, Daikin, and Fujitsu are referenced as acceptable brands for mini split HVAC units - Products/Services Requested: - Complete removal of existing HVAC equipment, including heat pump, ductwork, piping, motorized zone dampers, return ductwork, static pressure sensors, and automation server panel - Installation of new Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) unit - Installation of new mini split cassettes and condenser units (brands: Lennox, Daikin, Fujitsu) - All associated piping, ductwork, sensors, gas, and electrical connections - Turnkey construction services including all materials, labor, supervision, permits, and coordination with CSN staff - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Project must be completed within 30 days from notice to proceed; $500/day liquidated damages for delays - Alternate HVAC brands may be considered if submitted with full specifications by the question deadline; otherwise, specified brands must be used - Compliance with Nevada prevailing wage laws, apprenticeship utilization, sustainability practices, and all state/local codes - Contractor responsible for insurance, payment and performance bonds, and detailed subcontractor reporting - Emphasis on quality workmanship, warranty, and documentation - Estimated project value: $200,000

Description

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is soliciting bids for a turnkey project to upgrade the HVAC system in the North Las Vegas Campus B Building. The project includes removal of existing heat pump, duct work, and piping, installation of a new Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) unit, new mini split cassettes, and associated piping, duct work, sensors, gas, and electrical.
