The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is soliciting proposals to pre-qualify vendors and applications for portfolio and project management activities related to capacity forecasting and modeling. The RFQ seeks a modeling solution capable of forecasting capacity market aspects, including price forecasts, reserve requirements, demand curve slope, total market cost, and capacity accreditation factors for New York's capacity zones over a 20-30 year horizon. The solution should improve upon the existing Excel-based process by automating data retrieval, reducing user training and forecast execution time, and minimizing user errors. Vendors must propose applications that provide the necessary outputs, describe automation and training, and detail the forecasting methodology including any customization or enhancement experience.
